Rooted in India. Reaching forward.

We reach out.
And we stay.

We're a small trust working alongside families in rural India — helping where it's needed now, speaking up where it isn't heard, and sticking around long after.

Our name

What the name means

ROHAN is short for Reaching Out to Help, Advocate and Nurture. It's basically a description of what we do all day.

RO

Reaching Out

We go to the people who need us, rather than waiting for them to find us.

H

to Help

Practical support — schooling, food, health — that changes the day in front of someone.

A

Advocate

Speaking up with schools, panchayats and local offices when a family can't get through alone.

N

and Nurture

Staying in touch. Help that stops after one year doesn't really help.

Impact

Where we are so far

We're small and just starting out. Here's everything, honestly.

15
Children enrolled in school

Fifteen kids started school this year, with everything they needed to get there.

₹3.5L
Raised so far

Almost all of it from people who know us and decided to chip in.

₹2.5L
Already distributed

Already with the families and schools. The rest is on its way.

Stories

The families we work with

Everyone we work with has a name and a say in what happens next. We'd rather let them tell you how it's going.

"My daughter is the first in our family to read. She reads the bus board to me now, loudly, so everyone hears."
— A mother of one of the fifteen kids who started school this year
